I can't say enough wonderful things about Silkies stockings and their tights.  This eggplant color is singularly one of the best Fall colors.

When I was in high school my idol was Coco Chanel - my dream was flying to Paris, shopping at a flea market and finding a Coco Chanel suit. Any size, any color -  her signature tweed jacket and layers of pearls! I would read in Vogue how women would find her suits and cherish them. My mother was a master seamtress and she could alter anything to fit me. I was the "mod" girl and proudly one of the best dressed girls in school - if not the best :)

 Karl Lagerfeld at the helm has been magnificent in keeping Chanel alive. The pictures below show his Paris Bombay line with elegance and, of course, vintage Chanel.
